SPRING 1978
Our
radio club is brought into existence on the initiative of Jurek SP5GJH,
Jurek SP5ASY and Tadeusz SP5IGW. The club is given the callsign of
SP5KVW. Ostrołęcka Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa (the town’s housing
association) finds room for us at 2A, Starosty Kosa Street. Our first
transmitter is ex-army qrp RBM-1.

We
acquire a new Polish transceiver Jowisz (Jupiter) SP-102, bought for
the club by a paramilitary organisation LOK in Ostrołęka.

SPRING 1979
Operators and
members of our club participate in the aid operation for the victims of
‘the flood of the century’ after ‘the winter of the century’ 1978/79.

SPRING 2002
After many years of very little activity we
organise a meeting of club members. A group of operators put forward an
idea of organising the 25th anniversary of the club. We plan
to organise a countrywide HF and UHF contest. We have new management
too.
